Using the POS: bills, courses, cover charge, payment

The Puntify POS

The POS lets you manage bills right from your tablet: open a table, add products, send orders to the kitchen and close the bill. Everything is connected to the menu and to loyalty points.

Step 1 — Open a bill

Select the table (or create a "counter" bill) and start adding products from the menu. The total updates in real time.

Step 2 — Courses and orders

• Assign products to courses (starters, first courses, main courses) so dishes come out in the right order.
• Send the order: it reaches the kitchen and bar monitors, or the printer.

Step 3 — Cover charge and changes

Add the cover charge automatically based on the number of guests, apply notes ("no onion"), discounts or removals. Every change stays tracked on the bill.

Step 4 — Payment

At closing, choose the payment method (cash, card…), handle any split bills and record the takings. If the customer is signed up, loyalty points are earned automatically on that bill.

Tip

Use courses from day one: the kitchen works better and table service runs more smoothly, especially during peak hours.
