Transactions: takings, points and fee breakdown

Transactions

A "transaction" is a movement recorded at your shop: a taking (when a customer spends and earns points) or a reward redemption (when they use their points). The "Transactions" page is the full list of these movements, with takings, points and the breakdown of fees on Stripe payments.

Filtering by period and reading the totals

1. At the top you choose the "Period" with the chips "Today" (default), "7 days", "30 days" or "All".
2. Below, three panels summarize the chosen period: "Takings" (total in euros), "Transactions" (how many there are) and "Points" (loyalty points issued).

Reading the list

Each row shows an icon (a check for a taking, a minus for a reward redemption), the customer's name (or "Unregistered customer"), the type of movement (e.g. "Redemption: {reward}" or the service), the date and time, an origin label "Stripe" or "Manual", the amount in euros and any points (+X or −X).

Opening a transaction's detail

Tap a row to open the detail, especially useful for online payments, where you see the breakdown:

1. "Paid by customer": how much the customer paid.
2. "of which service fees", if any.
3. "Stripe fee" and "Puntify application fee": the amounts withheld.
4. "Merchant net": what's left for you (in bold).
5. "Loyalty points" issued and, if payment was made with Stripe, the clickable "Stripe payment code".

Deleting a transaction

1. On desktop use the "Delete" button; on mobile you can swipe the row to the left.
2. The confirmation "Delete transaction?" appears with the warning "This action cannot be undone."
3. Confirm with "Delete": the row disappears and the period totals update.

Common questions

What do "Manual" and "Stripe" mean? "Stripe" is an online card payment; "Manual" is a transaction you recorded yourself (for example from scanning at the POS). Why do I see amounts withheld on Stripe? Online payments carry the Stripe fee and the Puntify application fee: the "Merchant net" is what's left for you. Can I recover a deleted transaction? No, deletion is permanent: only confirm if you're sure. Do the points stay if I delete the transaction? Deleting removes the movement and its related period totals.
