Setting up devices and monitors (kitchen, drinks, dining room)

A screen for every station

Puntify lets you connect several devices: the POS in the dining room, the kitchen monitor, the one at the drinks station, the queue display. Each screen shows only what it needs.

Step 1 — Add a device

From the Devices / Monitors section, create a new station and give it a name (e.g. "Kitchen", "Bar", "Till 1"). You get a link or a code to open on the tablet or dedicated screen.

Step 2 — Choose what each monitor shows

• Kitchen monitor: shows the orders for dishes to prepare.
• Drinks monitor: shows only drinks and coffee items.
• Dining room / queue display: shows the numbers called or the orders ready.

Step 3 — Match products to stations

Indicate which menu categories go to the kitchen and which to the bar: that way each order automatically reaches the correct screen, with no slips of paper getting lost.

Step 4 — Printing (optional)

If you use a printer (including via the Android app with USB printing), you can have orders and receipts come out on paper as well as on screen.

Tip

Keep each monitor on a fixed station and always on: the flow of orders stays smooth throughout the whole service.
