The virtual queue and the kiosk
Get rid of physical queues: customers take a number from their phone or from the kiosk.
Goodbye physical queues
With the virtual queue, customers take a number and wait wherever they like, following their progress from their phone. Fewer crowds at the counter, more order and calmer customers.
Step 1 — Turn on the queue
Open the Queue / Skip the line section and turn it on for your shop. You can run one or more queues (for example "Deli counter" and "Till").
Step 2 — How the customer takes a number
- From their phone: they scan the QR and get a ticket, with an estimated wait.
- From the kiosk: those who don't use a phone tap the in-store kiosk and take a number.
Step 3 — Call the next one
From the operator panel you call the next number with a tap. The in-store display shows the number being served and the desk, while the customer gets a notification on their phone.
Step 4 — Operators and desks
If you have more than one station, assign operators to desks: each one calls from their own queue and the board stays up to date at all times.
Tip
Put the QR and the kiosk in clear view at the entrance: customers take a number right away and you avoid crowding during busy times.
Queue priority
Each queue has a weight, a value from 1 to 10 ranging from "Normal" (the default) to "Maximum". You set it with the slider in the queue's settings.
When a single operator handles several queues at once ("All" mode), the next customer is chosen based on wait time × queue weight, calling the highest value: the most important queues are served first. The advantage is proportional, not absolute: anyone waiting a long time in a low-weight queue still gets called eventually, so no queue is ever forgotten. When all weights are equal, it's simply first-come, first-served.
